There are some great ideas I hear about from time to time from friends and family.  Recently, in one of those conversations, a friend, who happens to be a carpenter as well, told me about an idea he has had about turning an old garage into a greenhouse.

As we talked about what he would like to do, I asked him if it would be possible to share a garage with a greenhouse.  At first he thought I meant putting a garage and a greenhouse side by side under the same roof.  However, I was actually thinking about the two things sharing the same space.

You see a greenhouse is vented in the summer months and heated in the winter months.  It would seem to be a good place to have a car or truck.  Good conditions for plants are good conditions for a vehicle.

The concerns are the exhaust and fumes from the vehicle and what affect they would have on the plants as well as the bugs and such on the vehicle.  It may be a crazy idea, but who knows, it may also be an idea for the future.
